Contact Hunter Pro does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.
All data processed by the extension remains entirely local to your browser.
Specifically:
- The extension scans publicly available webpage content for emails, phone numbers, and social media links (Telegram, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- The extracted data is saved inside your browser’s local storage (
chrome.storage.local) — accessible only to you. - We do not collect browsing history, personal data, passwords, or cookies.
2. How the Data Is Used
The collected data is used solely for your convenience — allowing you to view, export, or delete contacts.
We do not analyze, share, sell, or send any information to remote servers.
3. Data Storage and Control
All extracted contacts are stored locally on your device, not in the cloud.
- You can permanently delete all stored data anytime by clicking “Clear All Data” in the extension popup.
- Removing the extension from Chrome automatically deletes all related local data.
4. Permissions and Purpose
The extension requests the following permissions:
storage— to save contact data locally inside your browser.activeTab/<all_urls>— to access and read the visible text of the pages you visit for contact extraction.
These permissions are strictly necessary for the core functionality of the extension and are never used for tracking.
5. Third-Party Services
This extension does not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party APIs.
All processing happens directly within your browser environment.
6. Children’s Privacy
Contact Hunter Pro is not designed for use by individuals under 16 years old.
